When using APA format, follow the author-date method of in-text citation.This means that the author's last name and the year of publication for the source should appear in the text, for example, (Jones, 1998), and a complete reference should appear in the reference list at the end of the paper.Because PQDT only permits full-text access to subscribers, your thesis or dissertation will also be made openly available in the Library's Digital Repository Service (DRS), Scholarly Communication Librarian, with any additional questions or comments about the university's ETD program.

Like many colleges and universities, Northeastern has implemented an Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) program to replace the traditional practice of depositing print copies of theses and dissertations in the library. You will submit your thesis or dissertation electronically to Pro Quest/UMI Dissertation Publishing, where it will be made available through the Pro Quest Dissertations and Theses (PQDT) database.

NYU holds very few dissertations completed at other institutions.
