Some may be more coursework-focused and others more research-led.
For example, many UK universities now use very specific degree names, such as ‘Bachelor of Marketing.’ In Australia and New Zealand, where most still use the older system of general names, the same degree would be a ‘Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing)’.
UK graduates looking for a teacher training course in will not find a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – the equivalent courses are the Graduate Diploma of Education or the Master of Teaching.
