We are happy to announce that senior Syvon Holland recently won the first annual Cultural Arts Society of Fuquay-Varina MLK Jr.

King’s 1968 “I Have A Dream” speech, Syvon was challenged to reflect-on the phrase “” He wrote about what the phrase meant in-context and how he sees this idea exemplified in the world today, based on his experiences. This is a great honor for Syvon, and we are proud of him!

It is meant to challenge students to think about how civil rights and diversity affect their lives and how they can continue the work of Dr. All Ohio students in grades 6-12 are invited to enter this contest and may submit one (1) entry per student.
