Where possible this will be based around our main topics of The Stone Age in History and Magnets in science.
So if you have any books, information or relevant objects, children are welcome to bring these in to support our learning.
The spellings and times table homework will usually be sent home on a Friday.
Spellings will be sent via parent mail each week and the children will be given a times table to practise in their yellow homework book.
We will look at what made these periods in history special exploring the discoveries and inventions.
We will look at what cave men were really like and discover what it would have been like to live in those times.
Please try to hear your child read and record it in their red reading record.
We ask the children to use these reading records in school so please ensure that children bring their book bag and reading record book everyday.
They will learn that humans and some animals have skeletons and muscles for support, protection and In Literacy during the first half term we will be reading the story of 'Stone Age Boy'.
We will complete a range of writing activities linked to the themes of the story and also be developing our skills of writing imaginative setting and character descriptions.
