Some schools mandate homework for Pre-K because they think it’s going to close the achievement gap, others do it because they think parents “expect it” and still others assign homework because it’s what they’ve always done.

To minimize frustration, be sure to provide clear instructions for each worksheet, and set time limits for completion.
